Civil servants (titulaires) and contract staff can apply. Contract staff are considered in a second stage.
Category: Category B (intermediate)
Experience: Beginners accepted
The profile they look for:
- Practical knowledge of the work environment and criminal procedure.
- Legal skills and applying regulations.
- Strong office software skills and use of the service's specific tool.
- Careful writing and good summary skills.
- Meeting deadlines, rigour and method.
- Good people skills and comfortable speaking.
2 Résumé and cover letter
A one- or two-page résumé and a short cover letter that takes up the duties of the offer with your examples. If you are a civil servant, you are often asked for your latest status decision (arrêté) and your latest annual review reports.
3 Apply
Deadline: December 31 (Closes in 61 days)
Apply on the employer's site of the Ministry of the Interior, using the mobility form, your CV and your cover letter.
4 Interview and answer
If your application is shortlisted, the employer contacts you for an interview, often with two or three people. Prepare: why this job, your experience close to the duties, and your questions.
Good to know:
- The job requires the security clearance « Secret ».
- Remote work is not possible.
- Working time is 40h30 per week, with 25 days of paid leave and 29 RTT days.
- Availability and discretion are required.
