Open to civil servants (titulaires) and contract staff. Grades concerned: aide-soignant de classe normale and classe supérieure.
Category: Category B (intermediate)
Diploma: Nursing assistant diploma (diplôme d'aide-soignant)
The profile they look for:
- Nursing assistant diploma required
- Good interpersonal skills essential
- Knowledge of hygiene and safety rules
- Sense of organisation and good communication
- Knowledge of neurodegenerative diseases such as Alzheimer's is welcome but not essential
2 Résumé and cover letter
A one- or two-page résumé and a short cover letter that takes up the duties of the offer with your examples. If you are a civil servant, you are often asked for your latest status decision (arrêté) and your latest annual review reports.
3 Apply

4 Interview and answer
If your application is shortlisted, the employer contacts you for an interview, often with two or three people. Prepare: why this job, your experience close to the duties, and your questions.
