The job is open to civil servants (titulaires) and contract agents. A contract agent can be hired if no civil servant application succeeds.
Category: Category B (intermediate)
The profile they look for:
- Empathy and a wish to help older people.
- Experience in a care home, hospital or home care is a plus.
- Good people skills, teamwork and mutual support.
- Physical stamina to move around the home.
- Conscientious, curious and eager to learn.
2 Résumé and cover letter
A one- or two-page résumé and a short cover letter that takes up the duties of the offer with your examples. If you are a civil servant, you are often asked for your latest status decision (arrêté) and your latest annual review reports.
3 Apply

4 Interview and answer
If your application is shortlisted, the employer contacts you for an interview, often with two or three people. Prepare: why this job, your experience close to the duties, and your questions.
Good to know:
- Two similar posts are open.
- Full time of 35 hours, part time possible.
- Shifts alternate between morning and afternoon, one weekend in two off.
- Category B (intermediate grade). No remote work.
