Category: Category B (intermediate)
Diploma: State nursing assistant diploma or recognised equivalent
Experience: Experience in health or social care, internships included
The profile they look for:
- State nursing assistant diploma (Diplôme d'État d'aide-soignant) or recognised equivalent.
- Experience in health or social care, internships included.
- Knowledge of basic first aid.
- Ability to work in a team and adapt to different situations.
- Strict respect of hygiene and safety rules.
- Empathy, rigour and good people skills.
2 Résumé and cover letter
A one- or two-page résumé and a short cover letter that takes up the duties of the offer with your examples. If you are a civil servant, you are often asked for your latest status decision (arrêté) and your latest annual review reports.
3 Apply

4 Interview and answer
If your application is shortlisted, the employer contacts you for an interview, often with two or three people. Prepare: why this job, your experience close to the duties, and your questions.
