Civil servants can apply for the grades of care assistant (normal or senior class). A contract worker can be hired if no civil servant application succeeds.
Category: Category B (intermediate)
The profile they look for:
- Know first aid procedures
- Know safety, hygiene and handling rules
- Observe, adapt and organise well
- Manage stress and work as a team
- Show discretion, empathy and listening skills
2 Résumé and cover letter
A one- or two-page résumé and a short cover letter that takes up the duties of the offer with your examples. If you are a civil servant, you are often asked for your latest status decision (arrêté) and your latest annual review reports.
3 Apply

4 Interview and answer
If your application is shortlisted, the employer contacts you for an interview, often with two or three people. Prepare: why this job, your experience close to the duties, and your questions.
