Civil servants (titulaires) and contract staff can apply. A person who has not passed a civil service exam can be hired directly for this entry-level category C grade.
Category: Category C (staff)
Experience: Experienced candidate.
The profile they look for:
- Know food hygiene and safety rules.
- Know the HACCP method.
- Be able to read a culinary technical sheet.
- Know cleaning and disinfection procedures.
- Be able to work as a team.
2 Résumé and cover letter
A one- or two-page résumé and a short cover letter that takes up the duties of the offer with your examples. If you are a civil servant, you are often asked for your latest status decision (arrêté) and your latest annual review reports.
3 Apply
No deadline given: the offer can be withdrawn at any time, do not wait.

4 Interview and answer
If your application is shortlisted, the employer contacts you for an interview, often with two or three people. Prepare: why this job, your experience close to the duties, and your questions.
Good to know:
- Remote work is not possible.
- Working hours follow meal service times.
- Carrying loads and standing for long periods.
- Category C post, vacant from 1 December 2026.
