Civil servants and contract staff can apply. A person who has not passed a civil service competition can be hired, because the grade is an entry grade in category C.
Category: Category C (staff)
Diploma: CAP in catering trades
The profile they look for:
- Hold a CAP in catering trades, or have similar work experience.
- Know HACCP and apply hygiene and safety rules.
- Know how to use kitchen equipment and machines.
- Know how to present dishes.
- Work well in a team and report unusual situations.
2 Résumé and cover letter
A one- or two-page résumé and a short cover letter that takes up the duties of the offer with your examples. If you are a civil servant, you are often asked for your latest status decision (arrêté) and your latest annual review reports.
3 Apply
Deadline: November 13 (Closes in 13 days)
Apply on the Seine-Maritime recruitment platform, through the employer's website. Your CV and cover letter will be reviewed after you submit them.
4 Interview and answer
If your application is shortlisted, the employer contacts you for an interview, often with two or three people. Prepare: why this job, your experience close to the duties, and your questions.
Good to know:
- Category C job.
- Annualised schedule based on school term times and holidays (duty days).
- Working hours vary by school.
- Remote work is not possible.
