Civil servants and contract staff can apply. A person who has not passed a civil service competition can be hired, because the grade offered is an entry grade in category C.
Category: Category C (staff)
The profile they look for:
- Knowledge of manual and machine dishwashing.
- Knowledge of food hygiene and safety rules.
- Follows safety rules and safe lifting and posture practices.
- Rigorous, responsive and adaptable.
- Able to work in a team and organise own work.
2 Résumé and cover letter
A one- or two-page résumé and a short cover letter that takes up the duties of the offer with your examples. If you are a civil servant, you are often asked for your latest status decision (arrêté) and your latest annual review reports.
3 Apply
Deadline: November 20 (Closes in 19 days)
Apply on the employer's website, using the link on the official offer. Administrative questions are handled by the human resources department.
4 Interview and answer
If your application is shortlisted, the employer contacts you for an interview, often with two or three people. Prepare: why this job, your experience close to the duties, and your questions.
Good to know:
- Morning shift, from about 6 a.m. to 3 p.m.
- Remote work not possible.
- Hard working conditions: long periods standing, lifting loads, noise, fast pace.
- Benefits: public transport costs partly refunded and reduced-price meals in high schools.
