1 Check the conditions You are here
Civil servants and contract staff can apply. A person who has not passed a civil service exam can be hired directly, because the grade is an entry grade of category C. Grade: adjoint technique.
Category: Category C (staff)
The profile they look for:
- Master HACCP method and self-checks.
- Know cleaning techniques and safety rules for maintenance.
- Know basic first aid gestures.
- Master table service techniques.
- Work well in a team and on your own.
- Have a public service mindset and a positive attitude with children and adults.
2 Résumé and cover letter
A one- or two-page résumé and a short cover letter that takes up the duties of the offer with your examples. If you are a civil servant, you are often asked for your latest status decision (arrêté) and your latest annual review reports.
3 Apply

4 Interview and answer
If your application is shortlisted, the employer contacts you for an interview, often with two or three people. Prepare: why this job, your experience close to the duties, and your questions.
