Civil servants and contract staff can apply. A person who has not passed a civil service competition can be hired, because the Adjoint technique grade is an entry grade in category C.
Category: Category C (staff)
Experience: Experienced candidates.
The profile they look for:
- Works independently.
- Looks after a group of children, keeping them physically and emotionally safe.
- Applies municipal instructions.
- Follows hygiene and safety rules.
- Shows empathy and a respectful attitude towards children.
- Stays in control in all situations.
2 Résumé and cover letter
A one- or two-page résumé and a short cover letter that takes up the duties of the offer with your examples. If you are a civil servant, you are often asked for your latest status decision (arrêté) and your latest annual review reports.
3 Apply

4 Interview and answer
If your application is shortlisted, the employer contacts you for an interview, often with two or three people. Prepare: why this job, your experience close to the duties, and your questions.
Good to know:
- Part-time post, with a working time below 50%.
- Remote work is not possible.
- Post vacant from 1 January 2027.
- Category C, Adjoint technique grade.
