Civil servants and contract staff can apply. A person who has not passed a civil service exam can be hired, because the job is open to entry-level category C grades (adjoint technique).
Category: Category C (staff)
Diploma: No diploma required

- Use protective equipment.
- Work independently and be punctual.
- Want to learn and grow in the job.
- Driving licence B strongly recommended.
2 Résumé and cover letter
A one- or two-page résumé and a short cover letter that takes up the duties of the offer with your examples. If you are a civil servant, you are often asked for your latest status decision (arrêté) and your latest annual review reports.
3 Apply
Deadline: November 30 (Closes in 30 days)
Apply on the employer's website, or send your CV and cover letter to the town hall.
4 Interview and answer
If your application is shortlisted, the employer contacts you for an interview, often with two or three people. Prepare: why this job, your experience close to the duties, and your questions.
Good to know:
- Indoor and outdoor work, in all weather, on foot or by vehicle.
- Regular hours from 8am to 12pm and 1:30pm to 5pm (Friday until 4:30pm).
- Overtime and on-call duty possible, on a voluntary basis.
- Driving licence C and CACES certificate are appreciated.
