Civil servants and contract staff can apply. A person who did not pass a civil service competition can be hired, because the grade is category C.

Diploma: Diploma at least level V (CAP/BEP) in a building trade
The profile they look for:
- Diploma at least level V in a building trade.
- Driving licence category B required.
- Know hygiene, safety and asbestos rules.
- Know building and garden maintenance techniques.
- Be able to assess risks and raise urgent alerts.
- Be able to work with the school community and outside partners.
2 Résumé and cover letter
A one- or two-page résumé and a short cover letter that takes up the duties of the offer with your examples. If you are a civil servant, you are often asked for your latest status decision (arrêté) and your latest annual review reports.

4 Interview and answer
If your application is shortlisted, the employer contacts you for an interview, often with two or three people. Prepare: why this job, your experience close to the duties, and your questions.
