Open to civil servants and contract staff. A person who has not passed a civil service exam can be hired directly, because the grade is an entry grade in category C.

Diploma: Diploma at least at level V in a building trade
The profile they look for:
- Diploma at least at level V in a building trade.
- Know the rules on hygiene, safety, asbestos and ERP buildings.
- Know building and grounds maintenance techniques.
- Analyse and follow maintenance and service contracts.
- Talk and work well with departments and outside contacts.
- Plan, organise and prioritise your work.
2 Résumé and cover letter
A one- or two-page résumé and a short cover letter that takes up the duties of the offer with your examples. If you are a civil servant, you are often asked for your latest status decision (arrêté) and your latest annual review reports.
3 Apply

4 Interview and answer
If your application is shortlisted, the employer contacts you for an interview, often with two or three people. Prepare: why this job, your experience close to the duties, and your questions.
Good to know:
- Job vacant from 1 January 2027.
- Direct hiring possible without a competitive exam (entry grade, category C).
- Grades: adjoint technique des établissements d'enseignement.
- A contract worker can be hired if no civil servant applies.
