Civil servants and contract staff can apply. A contract worker can be hired when no civil servant application has succeeded.
Category: Category C (staff)
Diploma: Suggested training: personal care assistance, premises maintenance and hygiene, hygiene and environment, catering.
The profile they look for:
- Know basic hygiene and safety rules, including HACCP.
- Know which cleaning products and equipment suit each task.
- Have good interpersonal skills and enjoy contact with people.
- Fit into a team and work well with others.
- Be organised, careful, discreet and punctual.
2 Résumé and cover letter
A one- or two-page résumé and a short cover letter that takes up the duties of the offer with your examples. If you are a civil servant, you are often asked for your latest status decision (arrêté) and your latest annual review reports.
3 Apply

4 Interview and answer
If your application is shortlisted, the employer contacts you for an interview, often with two or three people. Prepare: why this job, your experience close to the duties, and your questions.
