Civil servants (titulaires) and contract agents can apply. A person who has not passed a civil service competition can be hired directly, because the grade offered (adjoint technique) is an entry grade in category C.

Diploma: CAP AEPE (early childhood educational assistant) desired
Experience: Experienced candidate

2 Résumé and cover letter
A one- or two-page résumé and a short cover letter that takes up the duties of the offer with your examples. If you are a civil servant, you are often asked for your latest status decision (arrêté) and your latest annual review reports.
3 Apply
Deadline: November 15 (Closes in 14 days)
Apply before the deadline, on the employer's website or by email to the collectivity's recruitment service. The file can be sent by post or by email.
4 Interview and answer
If your application is shortlisted, the employer contacts you for an interview, often with two or three people. Prepare: why this job, your experience close to the duties, and your questions.
Good to know:
- Post vacant from 1 January 2027
- Remote work not possible
- Benefits: bonus scheme, CNAS social fund, income protection and health insurance with employer contribution
- A contract agent can be hired while waiting for a civil servant
