Open to civil servants and contract workers. A person who did not pass a civil service exam can be hired, because the grade offered is an entry grade in category C.
Category: Category C (staff)
The profile they look for:
- Know cooking techniques and hygiene and safety rules.
- Apply the HACCP method.
- Take diets and allergies into account.
- Know cleaning and disinfection procedures.
- Work well in a team and talk with teenagers.
- Be rigorous and quick to react.
2 Résumé and cover letter
A one- or two-page résumé and a short cover letter that takes up the duties of the offer with your examples. If you are a civil servant, you are often asked for your latest status decision (arrêté) and your latest annual review reports.
3 Apply

4 Interview and answer
If your application is shortlisted, the employer contacts you for an interview, often with two or three people. Prepare: why this job, your experience close to the duties, and your questions.
Good to know:
- Driving licence (permit B) required.
- Replacements in different schools, within 40 km of the home college.
- Job vacant from 7 December 2026.
- Category C (employee).
