Civil servants and contract agents can apply. An entry-level category C grade allows direct hiring without a competitive exam.
Category: Category C (staff)
The profile they look for:
- Professional baccalaureate in childcare and personal care services appreciated.
- CAP early childhood, CAP building maintenance and hygiene, or BAFA appreciated.
- Knowledge of cleaning techniques and protocols.
- Knowledge of hygiene and safety rules.
- Rigour, organisation and teamwork.
- Discretion and respect for the hierarchy.
2 Résumé and cover letter
A one- or two-page résumé and a short cover letter that takes up the duties of the offer with your examples. If you are a civil servant, you are often asked for your latest status decision (arrêté) and your latest annual review reports.
3 Apply
Deadline: November 13 (Closes in 12 days)
Apply on the employer's website named in the offer, or send your cover letter and CV to the Mayor by post.
4 Interview and answer
If your application is shortlisted, the employer contacts you for an interview, often with two or three people. Prepare: why this job, your experience close to the duties, and your questions.
Good to know:
- Position to be filled from 1 January 2027.
- Full time, 39 hours per week.
- Permanent recruitment or, failing that, contract for 1 year renewable.
