Civil servants and contract staff can apply. A contract worker can be hired, because the grade is an entry-level category C grade that needs no competitive exam.
Category: Category C (staff)
Diploma: CAP in building maintenance and hygiene, or cleaning and hygiene training
Experience: Significant experience accepted instead of the diploma.
The profile they look for:
- CAP in building maintenance and hygiene, or significant experience.
- Know manual and machine cleaning methods.
- Use specialised cleaning machines every day.
- Follow safety rules and safe lifting and posture rules.
- Be rigorous, methodical and discreet.
2 Résumé and cover letter
A one- or two-page résumé and a short cover letter that takes up the duties of the offer with your examples. If you are a civil servant, you are often asked for your latest status decision (arrêté) and your latest annual review reports.
3 Apply

4 Interview and answer
If your application is shortlisted, the employer contacts you for an interview, often with two or three people. Prepare: why this job, your experience close to the duties, and your questions.
Good to know:
- Evening shift: from 11:40 to 20:25.
- Heavy lifting, wet working conditions and repetitive movements.
- Remote work is not possible.
