2 Résumé and cover letter
A one- or two-page résumé and a short cover letter that takes up the duties of the offer with your examples. If you are a civil servant, you are often asked for your latest status decision (arrêté) and your latest annual review reports.
3 Apply

Apply on the employer's site, starting from the official offer. Attach the requested documents, including the single mobility or recruitment form.
4 Interview and answer
If your application is shortlisted, the employer contacts you for an interview, often with two or three people. Prepare: why this job, your experience close to the duties, and your questions.
Good to know:
- Electrical authorisations required or to be obtained when taking up the post.
- Regular travel between the sites covered by the SGCD.
- Later on, possible participation in an on-call duty rota.
- Supervision of an apprentice is planned.
