Civil servants and contract agents can apply. A person who has not passed a civil service exam can be hired, because the grade is an entry grade in category C.

The profile they look for:
- Significant experience in maintaining rainwater and wastewater networks.
- Good knowledge of plumbing.
- Good knowledge of fire hydrant management.
- Able to read network plans well.
- Good organisation, rigour, responsiveness and teamwork.
2 Résumé and cover letter
A one- or two-page résumé and a short cover letter that takes up the duties of the offer with your examples. If you are a civil servant, you are often asked for your latest status decision (arrêté) and your latest annual review reports.

4 Interview and answer
If your application is shortlisted, the employer contacts you for an interview, often with two or three people. Prepare: why this job, your experience close to the duties, and your questions.
Good to know:
- Full-time job, 36h30 over 4.5 days with RTT days.
- On-call duty possible in the evenings or at weekends.
- Outdoor work, with heavy lifting.
- Remote work not possible.
