Civil servants and contract staff can apply. A person who has not passed a civil service exam can be hired directly, because the entry grade is category C.
Category: Category C (staff)
The profile they look for:
- Check how clean the premises are
- Organise your work by schedule and instructions
- Use cleaning machines and equipment
- Apply hygiene and safety rules
- Show rigour, independence and discretion
2 Résumé and cover letter
A one- or two-page résumé and a short cover letter that takes up the duties of the offer with your examples. If you are a civil servant, you are often asked for your latest status decision (arrêté) and your latest annual review reports.
3 Apply
Deadline: December 6 (Closes in 35 days)
Send your application to the town hall's human resources department, by post or by email, or apply on the employer's website.
4 Interview and answer
If your application is shortlisted, the employer contacts you for an interview, often with two or three people. Prepare: why this job, your experience close to the duties, and your questions.
Good to know:
- Full-time post, 36 hours per week.
- Shifted working hours possible.
- Wearing personal protective equipment is compulsory.
- No remote work.
