Territorial civil servants and contract agents can apply. A person without a civil service competition can be hired, because the entry grade of category C allows direct recruitment.
Category: Category C (staff)
Diploma: CAP Early Childhood Educational Assistant (AEPE) welcome, not required.
Experience: Confirmed experience.
The profile they look for:
- Know child development from 2 to 6 years old.
- Know hygiene, safety and group care rules.
- Know how to clean rooms and equipment used in nursery schools.
- Show patience, kindness and good listening.
- Be quick to react, alert and discreet.
2 Résumé and cover letter
A one- or two-page résumé and a short cover letter that takes up the duties of the offer with your examples. If you are a civil servant, you are often asked for your latest status decision (arrêté) and your latest annual review reports.
3 Apply

4 Interview and answer
If your application is shortlisted, the employer contacts you for an interview, often with two or three people. Prepare: why this job, your experience close to the duties, and your questions.
