Civil servants and contract agents can apply. A person who has not passed a civil service competition can be hired, because the entry grade of category C allows direct recruitment.
Category: Category C (staff)
Diploma: CAP early childhood care or AEPE (required)
Experience: Confirmed experience requested.
The profile they look for:
- CAP early childhood care or AEPE diploma required.
- Know hygiene and safety rules for public settings and schools.
- Know child development and child psychology.
- Good people skills, listening and kindness.
- Respect the duty of discretion and neutrality.
- Able to travel across the whole town.
2 Résumé and cover letter
A one- or two-page résumé and a short cover letter that takes up the duties of the offer with your examples. If you are a civil servant, you are often asked for your latest status decision (arrêté) and your latest annual review reports.
3 Apply
Deadline: December 14 (Closes in 43 days)
Apply on the town hall’s employer website, linked from the official offer. Send your CV and cover letter to the Mayor.
4 Interview and answer
If your application is shortlisted, the employer contacts you for an interview, often with two or three people. Prepare: why this job, your experience close to the duties, and your questions.
Good to know:
- Post vacant from 1 January 2027.
- Remote work is not possible.
- No management role.
- Must be able to travel across the whole town.
