Civil servants (titulaires) and contract staff can apply. A person who has not passed a civil service competition can be hired, because the entry grade of category C allows direct recruitment.

Diploma: CAP AEPE or former CAP petite enfance (early childhood)
The profile they look for:
- Hold the CAP AEPE or former CAP petite enfance (early childhood)
- Knowledge of child psychology and child development
- Knowledge of hygiene and safety rules
- Welcoming nature, patience and availability
- Good organisation, method and discretion
2 Résumé and cover letter
A one- or two-page résumé and a short cover letter that takes up the duties of the offer with your examples. If you are a civil servant, you are often asked for your latest status decision (arrêté) and your latest annual review reports.
3 Apply
Deadline: December 11 (Closes in 40 days)
Apply on the employer's website, or send your CV and cover letter to the town hall by email, as stated in the offer.
4 Interview and answer
If your application is shortlisted, the employer contacts you for an interview, often with two or three people. Prepare: why this job, your experience close to the duties, and your questions.
Good to know:
- The text says the job starts in September 2022, but the deadline is in 2026: please check.
- The contract cannot exceed one year, renewable up to 2 years in total.
- The job may also be open at the ATSEM principal and adjoint technique grades.
- Cleaning and restoring school buildings is planned during school holidays.
