Open to civil servants and contract workers. A person who has not passed a public exam can be hired directly, because the entry grade of category C allows it.
Category: Category C (staff)
The profile they look for:
- Driving licence B and C required
- Crane, aerial platform and backhoe licences wanted
- Works alone and in a team
- Follows hygiene and safety rules, wears protective equipment
- Good physical fitness for lifting loads and working outdoors
- Public service mindset and good people skills
2 Résumé and cover letter
A one- or two-page résumé and a short cover letter that takes up the duties of the offer with your examples. If you are a civil servant, you are often asked for your latest status decision (arrêté) and your latest annual review reports.
3 Apply

4 Interview and answer
If your application is shortlisted, the employer contacts you for an interview, often with two or three people. Prepare: why this job, your experience close to the duties, and your questions.
