Civil servants and contract staff can apply. A contract worker can be hired when no civil servant application has succeeded. A competitive exam is not needed for this entry grade.
Category: Category C (staff)
Experience: Significant experience required in operating a backhoe loader (CACES R482 categories A and C1).
The profile they look for:
- Know the basic techniques of road and network works.
- Apply safety rules on worksites.
- Operate motorised equipment safely.
- Know road regulations.
- Be rigorous, independent and a team player.
2 Résumé and cover letter
A one- or two-page résumé and a short cover letter that takes up the duties of the offer with your examples. If you are a civil servant, you are often asked for your latest status decision (arrêté) and your latest annual review reports.
3 Apply

4 Interview and answer
If your application is shortlisted, the employer contacts you for an interview, often with two or three people. Prepare: why this job, your experience close to the duties, and your questions.

- CACES R482 categories A and C1 required for operating a backhoe loader.
