Civil servants and contract staff can apply. A person who has not passed a civil service competition can be hired, because the post is open to entry grades of category C (adjoint technique).
Category: Category B (intermediate)
Experience: Confirmed experience
The profile they look for:
- Technical skills in electrical work, plumbing, heating and mechanics.
- Skills in water or air treatment would be a plus.
- Electrical authorisation sufficient for the job (B1 or B2).
- Autonomy, versatility and rigour at work.
- Team spirit and good contact with the public.
- Basic computer skills.
2 Résumé and cover letter
A one- or two-page résumé and a short cover letter that takes up the duties of the offer with your examples. If you are a civil servant, you are often asked for your latest status decision (arrêté) and your latest annual review reports.
3 Apply
Deadline: November 15 (Closes in 18 days)
Apply on the employer's website linked from the offer. Send your cover letter and CV to the President of the SIVU.
4 Interview and answer
If your application is shortlisted, the employer contacts you for an interview, often with two or three people. Prepare: why this job, your experience close to the duties, and your questions.
Good to know:
- Remote work not possible.
- Irregular hours, including weekends and public holidays.
- On-call technical duty, with frequency given at the interview.
- Takes part in rescue drills and emergency call-outs.
