Open to civil servants (titulaires) and contract staff. A person who has not passed a civil service competition can be hired directly, because the grade is an entry grade in category C.
Category: Category C (staff)
Experience: Confirmed, significant experience in the field.
The profile they look for:
- In-depth knowledge of buildings and electrical maintenance, gained through practice.
- Electrical authorisation (habilitation électrique) required.
- Driving licence category B required.
- Works well across teams, with patience and quick reactions.
- Good knowledge of management, relations and communication.
2 Résumé and cover letter
A one- or two-page résumé and a short cover letter that takes up the duties of the offer with your examples. If you are a civil servant, you are often asked for your latest status decision (arrêté) and your latest annual review reports.

4 Interview and answer
If your application is shortlisted, the employer contacts you for an interview, often with two or three people. Prepare: why this job, your experience close to the duties, and your questions.
Good to know:
- Driving licence category B required.
- Mandatory on-call duty on weekdays and weekends, several times a year.
- Outdoor work, exposed to bad weather.
- Remote work not possible.
