Civil servants and contract staff can apply. A person who has not passed a civil service competition can be hired, because the grade is a category C entry grade.
Category: Category C (staff)
Diploma: Level 3 title or diploma in cooking
The profile they look for:
- Level 3 title or diploma in cooking.
- Knowledge of culinary and dish presentation techniques.
- Knowledge of hygiene, disinfection and safety.
- Knowledge of the Plan de Maîtrise Sanitaire and nutrition decree.
- Methodical work organisation and time management.
- Rigour, efficiency and ability to work in a team.
2 Résumé and cover letter
A one- or two-page résumé and a short cover letter that takes up the duties of the offer with your examples. If you are a civil servant, you are often asked for your latest status decision (arrêté) and your latest annual review reports.
3 Apply

4 Interview and answer
If your application is shortlisted, the employer contacts you for an interview, often with two or three people. Prepare: why this job, your experience close to the duties, and your questions.
