Open to civil servants (titulaires) and contract agents. A person who has not passed a civil service competition can be hired, because the post includes an entry-level category C grade.
Category: Category C (staff)
Diploma: Level 3 title or diploma in cooking
The profile they look for:
- Level 3 diploma in cooking
- Knowledge of hygiene, disinfection and safety
- Knowledge of the Plan de Maîtrise Sanitaire and the nutrition decree
- Cooking techniques and food presentation
- Rigour, efficiency and teamwork
2 Résumé and cover letter
A one- or two-page résumé and a short cover letter that takes up the duties of the offer with your examples. If you are a civil servant, you are often asked for your latest status decision (arrêté) and your latest annual review reports.
3 Apply
Deadline: November 15 (Closes in 14 days)
Apply through the offer link on Choisir le Service Public, which leads to the employer's site. A CV and a cover letter are required.
4 Interview and answer
If your application is shortlisted, the employer contacts you for an interview, often with two or three people. Prepare: why this job, your experience close to the duties, and your questions.
Good to know:
- Remote work not possible
- Annualised working time; leave must be taken during school holidays
- Morning shift, one afternoon per week; working hours between 6am and 8pm
