Civil servants and contract agents can apply. A candidate who has not passed a competitive exam can be hired directly, because the entry grade of category C allows it.
Category: Category C (staff)
The profile they look for:
- Know how to use equipment, techniques and products
- Know the risks of products, including toxicity
- Know the basic rules of waste sorting
- Choose and measure products correctly
- Be discreet when working in occupied premises
2 Résumé and cover letter
A one- or two-page résumé and a short cover letter that takes up the duties of the offer with your examples. If you are a civil servant, you are often asked for your latest status decision (arrêté) and your latest annual review reports.
3 Apply

4 Interview and answer
If your application is shortlisted, the employer contacts you for an interview, often with two or three people. Prepare: why this job, your experience close to the duties, and your questions.
