Civil servants and contract agents can apply. Direct hiring without a competitive exam is possible, for the adjoint technique grades.
Category: Category C (staff)
Experience: Beginners accepted.
The profile they look for:
- Physical and manual fitness for the job.
- Rigour, a method of work and easy contact with people.
- Good listening skills to discuss and reach a quick diagnosis.
- Driving licence category B required.
- Heavy goods vehicle licence and CACES 4 and 1 are desirable.

2 Résumé and cover letter
A one- or two-page résumé and a short cover letter that takes up the duties of the offer with your examples. If you are a civil servant, you are often asked for your latest status decision (arrêté) and your latest annual review reports.
3 Apply

4 Interview and answer
If your application is shortlisted, the employer contacts you for an interview, often with two or three people. Prepare: why this job, your experience close to the duties, and your questions.

- Heavy goods vehicle licence desirable.
- CACES categories 4 and 1 desirable.
- Takes part in winter road maintenance.
