Civil servants and contract staff can apply. A person who has not passed a competitive exam can be hired, because the entry grade in category C allows direct recruitment.

The profile they look for:
- Category B driving licence required.
- Able to work alone and in a team.
- Handle garden machinery all day.
- Cope with cold, heat, sun and rain.
- Follow the schedules set by the team leader.
- Be available and reactive, and accept Saturday on-call duty.
2 Résumé and cover letter
A one- or two-page résumé and a short cover letter that takes up the duties of the offer with your examples. If you are a civil servant, you are often asked for your latest status decision (arrêté) and your latest annual review reports.

4 Interview and answer
If your application is shortlisted, the employer contacts you for an interview, often with two or three people. Prepare: why this job, your experience close to the duties, and your questions.
Good to know:
- Full time, 36 hours per week, plus half a day of RTT leave per month.
- On-call duty possible: winter road clearing, special events, emergencies.
- Work in the workshop and outdoors in all weather, with protective equipment required.
- Remote work not possible.
