Civil servants and contract staff can apply. A person without a civil service competition can be hired directly, because the grade is an entry grade in category C.
Category: Category C (staff)
Diploma: CAP, professional certificate or professional baccalaureate
Experience: Experienced profile
The profile they look for:
- CAP and/or professional certificate and/or professional baccalaureate.
- Electrical authorisations B1, B1T, BR and BC.
- Work at height on scaffolding, wearing a harness.
- Reading diagrams, sketches and technical manuals.
- Knowledge of workplace risks, personal protective equipment and regulations.
- Public service mindset, teamwork, quick reactions.
2 Résumé and cover letter
A one- or two-page résumé and a short cover letter that takes up the duties of the offer with your examples. If you are a civil servant, you are often asked for your latest status decision (arrêté) and your latest annual review reports.
3 Apply
Deadline: November 3 (Closes in 4 days)
Apply on the employer's website, or send your CV and cover letter to the town hall by mail.
4 Interview and answer
If your application is shortlisted, the employer contacts you for an interview, often with two or three people. Prepare: why this job, your experience close to the duties, and your questions.
Good to know:
- Remote work not possible.
- Car driving licence wanted, even essential.
- Work at height and in risk areas (live electrical work).
- No management role, vacant from 3 November 2026.
