Civil servants in the technical assistants group can apply, by secondment or transfer. Contract staff can also be hired, because the grade is an entry grade with no competitive exam.
Category: Category C (staff)
The profile they look for:
- Locksmith skills are a strong plus.
- Basic skills in masonry, tiling, electricity and plumbing.
- Quick to react, resourceful and rigorous.
- Works on their own, adapts well and team-minded.
- Public service spirit.
- Driving licence category B required.
2 Résumé and cover letter
A one- or two-page résumé and a short cover letter that takes up the duties of the offer with your examples. If you are a civil servant, you are often asked for your latest status decision (arrêté) and your latest annual review reports.
3 Apply

4 Interview and answer
If your application is shortlisted, the employer contacts you for an interview, often with two or three people. Prepare: why this job, your experience close to the duties, and your questions.
Good to know:
- Driving licence category B required.
- Bonus equal to a 13th month, paid to contract staff after a 6-month waiting period.
- Health and provident insurance, and 75% of public transport costs covered.
- Post to be filled as soon as possible, vacant from 1 January 2027.
