Civil servants and contract staff can apply. A person who has not passed a civil service exam can be hired, because the grade is an entry grade in category C.
Category: Category C (staff)
Diploma: CAP, BEP or professional bac in technical trades
The profile they look for:
- Autonomy, rigour and good teamwork.
- Skilled use of the commune's machines and equipment.
- Knowledge of health and safety rules.
- Ability to anticipate needs and check building safety.
- Driving licence category B required.
2 Résumé and cover letter
A one- or two-page résumé and a short cover letter that takes up the duties of the offer with your examples. If you are a civil servant, you are often asked for your latest status decision (arrêté) and your latest annual review reports.
3 Apply
Deadline: November 13 (Closes in 16 days)
Apply through the employer's website linked from the official offer. You can also send your CV and cover letter to the town hall by post or email.
4 Interview and answer
If your application is shortlisted, the employer contacts you for an interview, often with two or three people. Prepare: why this job, your experience close to the duties, and your questions.
Good to know:
- Weekend on-call duty, with a schedule set with the service manager.
- Full-time, 35 hours a week; RTT days to take between 15 November and 15 March.
- Remote work is not possible.
- Driving licence category B required.
