Civil servants and contract workers can apply. A person who has not passed a civil service exam can be hired, because the grade offered is an entry grade in category C.
Category: Category C (staff)
Diploma: CAP/BEP or vocational bac in building maintenance or electrotechnics (preferred)
Experience: Experience in multi-skilled technical maintenance is wanted
The profile they look for:
- CAP/BEP or vocational bac in building maintenance or electrotechnics, preferred.
- Knowledge of ventilation (VMC, CTA) and filtration systems.
- Good knowledge of electricity, mechanics and appliance repair.
- Basic plumbing and building maintenance skills are a plus.
- Driving licence B wanted.
- Works independently, is rigorous and has a public service mindset.
2 Résumé and cover letter
A one- or two-page résumé and a short cover letter that takes up the duties of the offer with your examples. If you are a civil servant, you are often asked for your latest status decision (arrêté) and your latest annual review reports.
3 Apply

4 Interview and answer
If your application is shortlisted, the employer contacts you for an interview, often with two or three people. Prepare: why this job, your experience close to the duties, and your questions.
Good to know:
- Work both indoors and outdoors, with travel between several sites.
- On-call duty or occasional call-outs possible, depending on service needs.
- Wearing personal protective equipment (PPE) is required.
