Civil servants and contract agents can apply. A person who has not passed a competitive exam can be hired, because the grade is an entry grade in category C (adjoint technique, adjoint technique principal de 2e classe).
Category: Category C (staff)
Experience: Beginners accepted.
The profile they look for:
- Know electrical, mechanical, plumbing, joinery and welding techniques.
- Know and apply workplace safety rules and the risks of products.
- Know how to maintain green spaces, roads and water networks.
- Understand a maintenance manual, a plan or an instruction.
- Be rigorous, dynamic and quick to react.
- Use computer tools.
2 Résumé and cover letter
A one- or two-page résumé and a short cover letter that takes up the duties of the offer with your examples. If you are a civil servant, you are often asked for your latest status decision (arrêté) and your latest annual review reports.
3 Apply

4 Interview and answer
If your application is shortlisted, the employer contacts you for an interview, often with two or three people. Prepare: why this job, your experience close to the duties, and your questions.
Good to know:
- Remote work is not possible.
- No management role: the job reports to the head of technical services.
- Post vacant from 1 January 2027.
