Civil servants and contract staff can apply. A person who has not passed a civil service competition can be hired, because the grade is an entry grade in category C.
Category: Category C (staff)
The profile they look for:
- Know maintenance techniques for green spaces and roads.
- Know and apply health and safety rules at work.
- Know how to use the right tools, machines and equipment.
- Rigour, autonomy and a sense of organisation.
- Good people skills and a sense of public service.
- Good physical fitness.
2 Résumé and cover letter
A one- or two-page résumé and a short cover letter that takes up the duties of the offer with your examples. If you are a civil servant, you are often asked for your latest status decision (arrêté) and your latest annual review reports.
3 Apply
Deadline: November 1 (Closes in 3 days)
Send your application by post to the town hall before the deadline. The offer also has a link to apply on the employer's website.
4 Interview and answer
If your application is shortlisted, the employer contacts you for an interview, often with two or three people. Prepare: why this job, your experience close to the duties, and your questions.
Good to know:
- Remote work is not possible.
- Candidates may be called for an interview with the elected officials.
- Category C post (adjoint technique grades).
