Open to civil servants and contract staff. A person who has not passed a civil service exam can be hired directly, because the entry grade of category C allows it.
Category: Category C (staff)
The profile they look for:
- Basic knowledge of maintenance, mechanics, electrics or plumbing.
- Able to use and maintain equipment and light machinery.
- Driving licence B required; heavy goods licence or CACES certificate is a plus.
- Versatile, independent and well organised.
- Careful and follows safety rules.
- Good team spirit and good contact with the public.
2 Résumé and cover letter
A one- or two-page résumé and a short cover letter that takes up the duties of the offer with your examples. If you are a civil servant, you are often asked for your latest status decision (arrêté) and your latest annual review reports.
3 Apply
Deadline: November 2 (Closes in 4 days)
Send your application through the "emploi territorial" portal, with a cover letter and a CV, addressed to the President of the Communauté de communes.
4 Interview and answer
If your application is shortlisted, the employer contacts you for an interview, often with two or three people. Prepare: why this job, your experience close to the duties, and your questions.
Good to know:
- Full-time job, 35 hours per week.
- Works one Saturday every 3 weeks.
- Based in Pleurtuit, at the recycling centre site.
- Driving licence B required.
