Civil servants (by transfer) and contract workers can apply. A person who did not pass a civil service competition can be hired, because the entry grade in category C allows direct recruitment.

The profile they look for:
- Public service mindset, discretion and professional ethics
- Strong ability to work in a team is essential
- Skilled with equipment: mower, brush cutter, pruning tools
- Driving licence category B required
- CACES R372 cat. 4 and category C licence preferred
2 Résumé and cover letter
A one- or two-page résumé and a short cover letter that takes up the duties of the offer with your examples. If you are a civil servant, you are often asked for your latest status decision (arrêté) and your latest annual review reports.
3 Apply
Deadline: November 25 (Closes in 27 days)
Apply on the employer's website, or send a handwritten cover letter and a detailed CV by post to the town hall.
4 Interview and answer
If your application is shortlisted, the employer contacts you for an interview, often with two or three people. Prepare: why this job, your experience close to the duties, and your questions.
Good to know:
- Constant travel around the town with town vehicles
- Seasonal working hours, different in summer and winter
- Working at height and carrying heavy loads possible
- Remote work not possible
