Civil servants (titulaires) and contract staff can apply. A person without a civil service exam can be hired directly, because the grade is an entry grade in category C.

The profile they look for:
- Know building techniques and rules for maintaining buildings and roads.
- Know how to prune, trim and fell trees.
- Know safety rules, protective equipment and first aid.
- Be independent, quick to react and good at organising time.
- Work well in a team, with discretion and a sense of public service.
2 Résumé and cover letter
A one- or two-page résumé and a short cover letter that takes up the duties of the offer with your examples. If you are a civil servant, you are often asked for your latest status decision (arrêté) and your latest annual review reports.
3 Apply

Send your CV and cover letter to the Mayor, by email or by post to the town hall. You can also apply online on the emploi-territorial.fr platform.
4 Interview and answer
If your application is shortlisted, the employer contacts you for an interview, often with two or three people. Prepare: why this job, your experience close to the duties, and your questions.

- Remote work is not possible for this job.
- No management role.
