Civil servants and contract staff can apply. A person who has not passed a civil service exam can be hired, because the grade is an entry grade of category C (adjoint technique).
Category: Category C (staff)
The profile they look for:
- Read plans and instructions.
- Know health and safety rules at work.
- Use motorised machines (tractor) and petrol tools.
- Be versatile, independent, rigorous and meet deadlines.
- Have good physical strength (carrying loads).
2 Résumé and cover letter
A one- or two-page résumé and a short cover letter that takes up the duties of the offer with your examples. If you are a civil servant, you are often asked for your latest status decision (arrêté) and your latest annual review reports.
3 Apply
Deadline: November 7 (Closes in 9 days)
Apply on the employer's website, from the offer on Choisir le Service Public. The CV must be sent to the town hall.
4 Interview and answer
If your application is shortlisted, the employer contacts you for an interview, often with two or three people. Prepare: why this job, your experience close to the duties, and your questions.
Good to know:
- Outdoor work.
- Driving licence B required.
- Use of your personal vehicle for work, with mileage allowance.
