1 Check the conditions You are here
Open to civil servants and contract staff. A person who has not passed a civil service exam can be hired, because the grade is an entry grade in category C.
Category: Category C (staff)
The profile they look for:
- Overall knowledge of the site and its networks.
- Basic knowledge of electrics, plumbing, masonry and mechanics.
- Knowledge of safety rules and emergency procedures.
- Good organisation, customer care skills and team spirit.
- Basic computer skills.
2 Résumé and cover letter
A one- or two-page résumé and a short cover letter that takes up the duties of the offer with your examples. If you are a civil servant, you are often asked for your latest status decision (arrêté) and your latest annual review reports.
3 Apply
Deadline: November 16 (Closes in 16 days)
Apply through the employer's website from the official offer. A cover letter and a CV are required.
4 Interview and answer
If your application is shortlisted, the employer contacts you for an interview, often with two or three people. Prepare: why this job, your experience close to the duties, and your questions.
Good to know:
- Weekend work, 1 weekend in 5.
- Two weeks of on-call duty in summer, and occasional evenings and public holidays.
- Wearing the work clothing and protective equipment is mandatory.
- Working time of 1607 hours per year, annualised.
