Civil servants and contract workers can apply. A person who has not passed a competitive exam can be hired directly, because the grade is an entry grade of category C.

Experience: Professional references in electrical work required
The profile they look for:
- Know electrical, mechanical, plumbing and joinery techniques
- Know the safety rules for tasks, equipment and products
- Be able to spot faults in a building or piece of equipment
- Be independent, careful and quick to react, and report to your manager
- Have a good listening skill, a public service spirit and team spirit
2 Résumé and cover letter
A one- or two-page résumé and a short cover letter that takes up the duties of the offer with your examples. If you are a civil servant, you are often asked for your latest status decision (arrêté) and your latest annual review reports.
3 Apply

Apply on the employer's website. Send your cover letter and CV to the Mayor of the commune.
4 Interview and answer
If your application is shortlisted, the employer contacts you for an interview, often with two or three people. Prepare: why this job, your experience close to the duties, and your questions.
