Civil servants and contract agents can apply. Direct hiring without a competitive exam is possible, because the entry grade is category C. The grades offered are adjoint technique, adjoint technique principal and agent de maîtrise.
Category: Category C (staff)
Experience: Beginners accepted
The profile they look for:
- Be willing, motivated and rigorous
- Understand product and machine instructions
- Know basic safety rules and risks for the public
- Have a team spirit and a sense of public service
- Follow procedures and instructions
- Hold a car driving licence
2 Résumé and cover letter
A one- or two-page résumé and a short cover letter that takes up the duties of the offer with your examples. If you are a civil servant, you are often asked for your latest status decision (arrêté) and your latest annual review reports.
3 Apply

Apply on the employer's website, from the official offer. You can also send your file by email or by post to the town hall.
4 Interview and answer
If your application is shortlisted, the employer contacts you for an interview, often with two or three people. Prepare: why this job, your experience close to the duties, and your questions.

- On-call duty on a rotating cycle
- Car driving licence required
- No remote work possible
