Open to civil servants (titulaires) and contract staff, at the adjoint technique grade (category C). A contract worker can be hired because the town is small (article L332-8 of the general civil service code).

The profile they look for:
- Able to work alone, sometimes in a small team
- Very available, with irregular working hours
- Travel constantly between work sites
- Accept seasonal work and physically demanding tasks
- Able to talk with elected officials, staff and residents
2 Résumé and cover letter
A one- or two-page résumé and a short cover letter that takes up the duties of the offer with your examples. If you are a civil servant, you are often asked for your latest status decision (arrêté) and your latest annual review reports.

4 Interview and answer
If your application is shortlisted, the employer contacts you for an interview, often with two or three people. Prepare: why this job, your experience close to the duties, and your questions.

- Often works alone, with constant travel between sites
- Irregular hours and strong seasonal peaks depending on weather
- Physically hard job: noise, lifting, dangerous products
- Suitable work clothing required
