1 Check the conditions You are here
Civil servants and contract agents can apply. A person who has not passed a civil service exam can be hired directly, because an entry-level category C grade is open.
Category: Category C (staff)
The profile they look for:
- Know how to use and maintain cleaning equipment.
- Master premises cleaning techniques.
- Master HACCP rules (traceability, stock rotation, meal orders).
- Know cleaning products and how to use, transport and store them.
- Organise your work independently and take initiative.
- Work in a multidisciplinary team.
2 Résumé and cover letter
A one- or two-page résumé and a short cover letter that takes up the duties of the offer with your examples. If you are a civil servant, you are often asked for your latest status decision (arrêté) and your latest annual review reports.
3 Apply
Deadline: December 26 (Closes in 58 days)
Send your CV and cover letter by email or by post to the Human Resources Department of the town hall. You can also apply on the employer's website.
4 Interview and answer
If your application is shortlisted, the employer contacts you for an interview, often with two or three people. Prepare: why this job, your experience close to the duties, and your questions.
Good to know:
- Working hours: 7:45-16:00 or 10:30-18:45.
- Full-time post, 39 hours per week.
- 25 days of leave, 23 days of RTT (time off in lieu) and 3 days of hardship leave.
