Civil servants and contract staff can apply. A person who has not passed a civil service exam can be hired directly, because the grade is an entry level in category C. A contract worker can be hired only if no civil servant application succeeded.

Diploma: CAP or level V qualification, preferably in electricity or electrotechnics
Experience: Not stated; experience in a similar job is valued
The profile they look for:
- Know safety rules and health standards.
- Apply electrical techniques.
- Understand plans, diagrams and technical manuals.
- Be physically fit, independent and able to act quickly in urgent cases.
- Report on work orally and in writing.
- Driving licence B required.
2 Résumé and cover letter
A one- or two-page résumé and a short cover letter that takes up the duties of the offer with your examples. If you are a civil servant, you are often asked for your latest status decision (arrêté) and your latest annual review reports.
3 Apply

4 Interview and answer
If your application is shortlisted, the employer contacts you for an interview, often with two or three people. Prepare: why this job, your experience close to the duties, and your questions.
Good to know:
- Driving licence B required; licence PL would be a plus.
- No remote work. Hours vary, and work on Saturdays or Sundays is possible.
- High availability needed in summer for events.
