Open to civil servants and to non-civil servants with the right skills. A non-civil servant would be hired as a contract worker, if no suitable civil servant applies.
Category: Category C (staff)
The profile they look for:
- Electrical authorisation BS/BE recommended.
- Strong skills in building, maintenance and upkeep.
- Good knowledge of health, safety and environmental rules.
- Able to diagnose a fault and repair it.
- Able to handle emergency situations.
- Rigorous, autonomous and proactive.
2 Résumé and cover letter
A one- or two-page résumé and a short cover letter that takes up the duties of the offer with your examples. If you are a civil servant, you are often asked for your latest status decision (arrêté) and your latest annual review reports.
3 Apply
Deadline: November 14 (Closes in 16 days)
Apply through the « Apply on the employer's site » tab of the official offer. Incomplete applications or applications sent by email will not be processed.
4 Interview and answer
If your application is shortlisted, the employer contacts you for an interview, often with two or three people. Prepare: why this job, your experience close to the duties, and your questions.
Good to know:
- Working hours vary according to public service needs.
- Occasional work on weekends may be needed.
- Remote work is not possible.
